• What is electric field?          Electric field is a place around a charge where the charge has its own electrical effect.
• What is the value of electric field intensity of a hollow conductor?            Zero.
• What is electric potential?            The electric potential is that when a work is done to bring a unit positive charge at a point of that electric field from infinity is called electric potential. It's a scalar quantity. Unit- volt.
• What is potential difference?          Work done to bring a unit positive charge from one point to another point of the conductor is called potential difference between two points. It's also a scalar quantity. SI unit- volt.
• What is the SI unit of electric capacity?        Farad (F).
• What is electrochemical cell?         A cell which converts chemical energy into electrical energy. It is of two types: primary cell and secondary cell.
• Primary cell is not chargeable. Example: Voltic cell, Leclanche cell, Daniel cell, Dry cell.
• Secondary cell is a rechargeable cell.
• Who discovered voltaic cell?     Alexandro De Volta.
• In a dry cell mixture of MnO2, NH4Cl and carbon is kept in a zinc vessel carbon acts as anode and Zinc vessel acts as cathode.
• What is the emf of dry cell?        1.5 v.
• What is the EMF of leclanche cell?         1.5 v.
